Many students solve 10 years of past board question papers, glance at the final answer, and assume they scored full marks.
The Step-Mark Reality
In both Nepal and Indian board exams, the final numerical answer typically accounts for only 0.5 to 1 mark out of a 4-mark question. The remaining 3 marks are awarded for stating assumptions, formula statements, and intermediate reductions. Always evaluate your solutions using official marking scheme rubrics.
